When many people thought that Atlético Nacional had already closed the transfer market, two more players appeared on the horizon who could wear green in the coming days. They are the mixed midfielder Nelson Deossa and the Colombian soccer champion goalkeeper, Harlen “Chipi Chipi” Castillo.
De Ossa, 22 years old and a native of Marmato (Caldas), meets the profile that Brazilian coach Paulo Autuori is looking for in that position.
Dayron Pérez, the Colombian coach who currently leads Atlético Chiriquí de Panamá, was the one who gave Deossa the opportunity to debut at Atlético Huila and knows him perfectly. That is why he speaks properly of his characteristics.
“He is intelligent, he has a lot of technique, he is versatile. He is strong one-on-one against his opponents, with skill and a change of pace, he also has a very good midrange”.
Pérez compares him with players of the stature of Giovanni Moreno, Víctor Cantillo and Andrés Ricaurte. “He has an outlook to go on the attack and put his teammates to play, but he also doubles down to fulfill the defensive phase. I am sure that in a team like Nacional he can consolidate and show all his potential as a player”.
Deossa made his debut in 2021 with the opita institution, but quickly went to Estudiantes de la Plata, where perhaps it was difficult for him to consolidate due to his youth.
Last year he was with Junior from Barranquilla, a team in which he made excellent matches that led the purslane managers to notice him. In addition, the player has repeatedly expressed his desire to wear the shirt of the Antioquia team.

Although the green team is satisfied with the goalkeepers Kevin Mier, David Agudelo and Luis Marquínez, they do not rule out the arrival of a new cuidapalos and this could be Harlen Castillo, who was offered to the club.
