The UAE bans travel for all its citizens who are not vaccinated with the Corona vaccine, starting from January 10

Dubai, United Arab Emirates – The UAE government declared a travel restriction for all its unvaccinated citizens, effective January 10th.

The National Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management Authority emphasized, in an official release, the mandate for UAE citizens to receive booster shots, as per national guidelines, for continued travel eligibility.

This regulation exempts unvaccinated individuals with documented medical contraindications to vaccination, along with those needing humanitarian or medical assistance abroad.

The Emirates News Agency stated that this measure is a response to the global health landscape and the current surge in infections, prioritizing the well-being of UAE citizens.

The UAE recorded 2,556 new coronavirus infections from various backgrounds in the past day, increasing the overall case count to 764,493.

Sadly, one fatality was reported, raising the total coronavirus-related deaths to 2,165.
