The UAE bans travel for all its citizens who are not vaccinated with the Corona vaccine, starting from January 10

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The UAE announced, on Saturday, a travel ban for all its citizens who are not vaccinated with the Corona virus, as of January 10.

The National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority stressed, in a statement, the necessity of obtaining the booster dose for vaccinated UAE nationals according to the national protocol for supporting doses to allow them to travel.

The decision excluded the unvaccinated from the groups medically excluded from taking the vaccine, in addition to humanitarian and treatment cases.

At a time, the Emirates News Agency said that the decision comes “in light of the global epidemiological situation and the current high rate of injuries, and with the aim of preserving the health and safety of UAE citizens.”

The UAE reported 2,556 new cases of the emerging coronavirus from different nationalities during the past 24 hours, bringing the total recorded cases to 764,493 cases.

In addition to the death of one case, while the death toll from the epidemic reached 2,165 cases.
