In this regard, the French daily praised the important efforts made by the UAE by doubling investments in agricultural lands in some countries, such as Egypt and Jordan, to support regional food security and foreign agricultural projects on the one hand, and to secure local demand on the other hand, in addition to establishing partnerships and implementing agricultural projects with American companies. To reduce dependence on food imports.
Les Echos also emphasized the importance of the challenges that Abu Dhabi is facing in this field, and the innovative measures and solutions it takes to develop its own agricultural production by investing in agricultural technology within the Emirates, and making it a priority to enhance food security in the year 2023.
