The time difference causes the closing of the voting to differ in each region. The polls have already closed in Indiana and Kentucky, where an anti-abortion constitutional amendment is also at stake.
Republicans are favorites to wrest control of both houses of Congress from Democrats, according to polls.
Which is the last state to finish the elections in the United States?

Results will not be known immediately
The White House warned that the counting of the legislative elections might take days, so it is possible that the results of all the races will not be known shortly following the polls close.
”We may not know who the election winners are for a few days. It takes time to count all the pallets in an orderly manner,” said the White House spokeswoman, Karine Jean-Pierre.
