The tangerine, a citrus fruit, slightly acidic and at the same time sweet, with a pleasant appearance and aroma, is one of the most recommended foods to be consumed daily, since its multiple nutritional and medicinal benefits provide the body with sufficient defenses against some infectious diseases.

This citrus stands out for its concentration of water, 90%, and vitamin C. It also has other vitamins, A, B1 and B2, as well as mineral salts, potassium and folic acid. It is rich in fiber, with a low level of sugar, reduced fat and calorie content, which makes it suitable even for weight loss. It is a diuretic fruit: together with the vitamins and mineral salts it contains, it helps treat anemia.
