In the summer of 2022, Nagelsmann was seen with Lena for the first time on a romantic vacation together on a yacht off Ibiza. Before Lena, Nagelsmann was in a relationship with his childhood sweetheart Verena, whom he married in 2018. Both have two children together.

Wurzenberger immediately quit as a Bayern reporter when the relationship became known and moved to the local editorial team at BILD Munich. After a few months it ended there too. When Nagelsmann was still Bayern coach, there was a plan for Lena to take a job in the PR department at BMW. After Nagelsmann’s surprising expulsion, the plan was scrapped.
Both enjoyed their free time together, went on vacation and hikes, and were often seen as fans of ice hockey or polo. Sweet: In May there was a “new addition to the family”: Lena and Julian picked up the Labrador puppy Rosalie from a breeder in Straubing.

During his time as Bayern coach, Lena was almost always in the stands at the end, cheering along with her Julian. After the Champions League victory in Paris in February, Nagelsmann went straight to the edge of the stands and gave his Lena a big kiss.
