The UK has lifted the mandatory quarantine requirement for citizens of several countries, including the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar and Turkey.
The UK has added the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Turkey, Qatar, Chile, Cambodia, Iceland to the official travel corridor list.
In this regard, Transport Secretary Grant Shapps said in a tweet that citizens coming from the above countries have been declared quarantine-free in the UK, which means that the citizens of these countries do not have to undergo 14-day self-isolation upon entering the UK. will
The change in rules will be effective from 4 am on Saturday, November 14.
Under current rules, tourists from the UK are also exempted from presenting a negative COVID-19 PCR test 96 hours before arriving in Dubai. Tourists from UK can get corona test on arrival in UAE.
On the other hand, the UK will end the quarantine-free facility for Greek citizens and will have to undergo mandatory self-isolation upon entry.
