NASA, Axiom Space and SpaceX plan to launch the Axiom 1 (Ax-1) mission on April 6, the first private mission to the International Space Station.
Axiom Space astronauts Michael López-Alegría, Larry Connor, Mark Pathy, and Eytan Stibbe will crew the Ax-1 mission.
Mr. López-Alegría, a former NASA astronaut, will be the mission commander. The American Connor will be the pilot. The Canadian Pathy and the Israeli Stibbe will play the role of specialists for this mission.
During the 10-day mission, the crew will spend eight days aboard the International Space Station conducting scientific research and commercial activities, according to NASA.
