On October 24 at the end of the followingnoon, a man collapsed in the city center of Reims (Marne), victim of cardiorespiratory arrest. Two passers-by were at the scene at the time. A woman intervened directly to perform a cardiac massage on the victim, reports France 3 Grand Est.

Before help arrived on the scene, his gesture helped restart the heart of the victim, who was walking his dog at the time of his illness. Today, the Marne firefighters are looking for the anonymous heroine in order to thank her for her intervention. She had not yet been located as of Tuesday evening.

It is possible to help the firefighters in their efforts by sending them any possible information regarding the passerby to the email address [email protected]. The discomfort of the walker shows that civilians are often the first people to be able to intervene to help a person in distress, hence the importance of knowing the actions that can save.
