He pointed out: “On the other side of the world, the second Saudi state was consolidating its influence in Najd and the Arabian Peninsula, during the reign of Imam Faisal bin Turki, whose reign coincided with the American Civil War, and Saudi Arabia was known at that time for the camel trade.”

And he continued: “As for Abraham Lincoln and his soldiers, their biggest problem was the transportation of weapons, which were transported on the back of Indian camels, but proved to be a failure in that task. A delegation was sent to Australia, which is known for breeding camels, and then to Baghdad.”

He explained: “When they arrived in Baghdad, they knew that the most powerful camels were the Najd camels, so they bought about 800 camels, including from Saudi wives, so the American delegation offered contracts to 18 Saudis of the most skilled camel breeders, and they went with them to America and established the Camel Corps, and during the military operations 3 of them died.” Saudi married women, and they were honored by establishing memorials for them.
