MILAN (AP) — Juventus continued its ups and downs in a 0-0 draw in the derby against Torino on Saturday in Serie A.
Dušan Vlahović hit the post in one of Juve’s few clear chances and the Bianconeri almost conceded a goal too.
Juventus has just one win in its last six league games and has fallen to third place in the league. They remained four points ahead of Bologna, Thiago Motta’s team, which is fourth after also drawing a goalless draw as hosts of Monza.
Juventus had an impressive run in the Turin derby. They haven’t lost to Torino in nine years.
The last time Torino had achieved even a draw was more than two years ago.
The Bianconeri had a brilliant chance to go ahead in the seventh minute when Federico Chiesa crossed to an unmarked Vlahović, whose shot hit the left post.
Vlahović had another good chance, but Torino goalkeeper Vanja Milinković-Savić saved the shot with one foot.
Colombian Duván Zapata scored for Torino in the first minute of the second half, but his goal was disallowed for a foul by defender Raoul Bellanova on Juve midfielder Filip Kostić.
GOAL SHORTAGE Bologna are on their heels, after their second consecutive 0-0 draw.
The team was only four points ahead of Roma, which visits a relegation-threatened Udinese this Sunday.
