The The Supreme Court of the United States agreed today to analyze the appeal of former President Donald Trumpwhich asked that a ruling by Colorado’s highest court that excludes him from this year’s primaries in that state be overturned for his role in the assault on the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

This week, when presenting the appeal to the Supreme Court, a spokesperson for the former president’s campaign, Steven Cheung, said in a statement that the Colorado court is “doing everything possible to disenfranchise all American voters”s when trying to remove President Trump, the main candidate in the 2024 elections.

Three justices on the Court were appointed by Trump
