Reports say a 64-year-old man shot and killed his 39-year-old son-in-law and then killed himself.
Alexandra Tsoukia, daughter of the perpetrator and wife of the victim, spoke on the LIVE NEWS show.
“The only thing I want to mention is that the man who murdered my husband today and destroyed us, threatened us and we had filed a complaint against him at the Thessaloniki Prosecutor’s Office. They had taken him to the psychiatric center and while we had given statements about how abusive he was, they called us from the psychiatric hospital and told us that he has no problem and will be discharged. Does anyone have a problem with this man who destroyed our family? From whom should I ask for responsibility who was walking around free? We also told the police. I don’t know who let this man out. It’s the only reason I came out. Who do I hold accountable? I was hit by shrapnel. If my son was together what would happen? Because someone signed that this man is fine? And they called me. My husband was 39 years old and a very good man,” she said, shocked by what happened to her family.
The family tragedy began to unfold at 08:32, when a woman called the Police, it is not yet known if she is in any way related to the two men.
The woman cried out for help as she described the horrific crime that took place on Kyzikou Street in Nice. A 64-year-old man had fatally shot his 39-year-old son-in-law.
The images that developed are chilling, when the police forces and ambulances rushed to the scene, the dead bodies of the 64-year-old perpetrator and the 39-year-old victim were lying on Kyzikou street. The heartbreaking moments…and the reasons still unanswered. The victim’s father-in-law had left two children fatherless, in a “crime” that, according to the first information, was premeditated.
An eyewitness describes frame by frame on newsit.gr the moment of the murder in Nice and what tragically took place. “I saw a man wearing a cap holding a rifle and I heard a second shot. After the second shot the screaming stopped. The screams were from the victim. I hear the victim’s wife from the balcony shouting: “Stelio come in, come in” and “help”. And he continues: “I see the killer go up a little bit and come back again, look towards the victim’s house and I hear a third shot. After that I lose him.
Apparently it was the shot that killed himself and fell. While I was with the victim’s wife was describing the events to the police and the worst she said is that the victim got out of the car to take his child to the nursery, the child was on the balcony, saw the scene and shouted “mom – mom one bad guy killed our dad”.
According to the first information, the 64-year-old perpetrator had separated from his wife, considering that she had found refuge in the house of his son-in-law and his daughter in Nice. Thus, he came down from Thessaloniki determined to execute his son-in-law, to take revenge on him, thinking that the couple was “hiding” his wife from him.
The tragic irony is that Mr perpetrator believed that the couple was responsible for his divorce.

No one expected that on Friday morning in Nice, the street would be painted red with the blood of an unfortunate father.
And so it happened, eyewitnesses describe that the gunman and perpetrator first spoke to the unfortunate 39-year-old and then coldly marked him and executed him without mercy….

Information states that the 39-year-old’s wife was watching the tragedy from the balcony and was shouting at her husband to leave the scene…neighbors testify to the unfortunate woman’s words: “Help, don’t kill it”
