The next foldable smartphone from Vivothe X Fold 2, becomes clearer. Thanks to a new leak, we now know that it should take advantage of the latest high-end chip from Qualcomm.
Vivo launched its first foldable smartphone, the X Fold, last April. Equipped with a SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen 1the product adopts a form factor reminiscent of the Galaxy Z Fold from Samsung with the added bonus of a foldable main screen LTPO AMOLED of 8.03 bits with a resolution of 1916 x 2160 pixels and a 6.53-inch AMOLED cover screen. For some time the Vivo X Fold 2 is at the center of the discussions. And it must be said that leaks and rumors about it are increasing.

A Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip?
Apparently the Vivo X Fold 2 could integrate the chip Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. If you don’t know it yet, this processor is the new high-end SoC from the American founder Qualcomm. He is already in a number of premium devices and should also equip most of the flagships of 2023. Still according to the source of the media mentioned above, this future foldable smartphone from the Chinese firm which is part of the BBK Electronics conglomerate will sport a thin and light folding screen in 2K resolution.

Along with the X Fold 2, Vivo is reportedly considering introducing a new panel which in addition to being thinner and more resistant, would offer better graphic rendering. The technology also provides better security while being more resistant to interference.
We also know that the Vivo X Fold 2 could sport a 50 megapixel Sony IMX866 camera OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) compatible.
