The Voice – “A miracle”, “History”, “Let’s take advantage”, “I want that every Saturday”: A major absence in the show surprises internet users

An unusual program … This Saturday March 19, 2022 on TF1, viewers of The Voice noticed an unusual absence from their program. But far from disappointing them, this one largely made their case. They would even like it to be like this every Saturday, according to the tweets published.

New bursts of blind auditions in The Voice this Saturday, March 19, 2022. For the sixth consecutive evening (already!), Amel BentMarc Lavoine, Vianney and Florent Pagny returned to their seats to discover new talents. Among the most memorable of the evening: Lisa, 21, who seduced Amel Bent thanks to her cover of “Easy on me” byAdele, after having tried the castings of the show no less than four times. Kevin Yven, 29, whose dream is to take part in l’Eurovision and who snatched from Florent Pagny rare compliments: “I put you in the virtuoso category, it’s masterful!”, He notably addressed to him.

Louis, originally from New Caledonia Vianney touched him a lot by resuming his song “For real”. The singer, sensitive to the emotion that emanated from the voice of the candidate, was just as upset to discover that the latter was in a wheelchair. “I regret even less to have turned around, because there is room for everyone in The Voice”, he spontaneously launched. Emotions, voices, personalities etc, all the usual ingredients were there. At least, in the first part of the evening.

Because very quickly on twitter, some Internet users began to notice a strange absence. It could have been that of Nolwenn Leroy, who plays the surprise backstage coach this season. The singer has the possibility of recovering talents not chosen by the coaches on set. But for several weeks, many Internet users have deplored interventions that are too rare and too discreet. So much so that some tend to forget that she is on the show … No, the big absentee this evening was actually quite different: until around 10:15 p.m., TF1 did not broadcast any advertisements .

Something to disconcert the most loyal viewers, used to being interrupted much more often. On twitter, the hypotheses went well: some thought of a technical problem or imagined that the publicity manager had fallen asleep or was stuck in the bathroom.

Another more likely explanation is that TF1 would have done everything to prevent viewers from escaping to France 2 where the 5th day of the Six Nations Tournament was broadcast with the match between France and England. During the quick page of advertisements finally broadcast around 10:15 p.m., many moreover had the reflex to skip to find out the score of the meeting… One thing is certain in any case, if some were “frightened” by this oddity, many rejoiced at this unexpected little change!
