Sofronio Vasquez Captures ‘The Voice’ Season 26 Title
The Voice crowned its Season 26 champion, with Sofronio Vasquez from Team Bublé, taking home the coveted title. The thrilling two-part finale, which began on December 9th, saw finalists deliver powerful performances, captivating viewers and leaving the judges in awe.
The five finalists included Danny Joseph (Team Reba), Jeremy Beloate (Team Snoop), Shye (Team Bublé), and Sydney Sterlace (Team Gwen). Each contestant performed two distinct songs, showcasing their impressive vocal ranges and connecting deeply with the audience. Vasquez impressed with his diverse choice of “Unstoppable” and "A Million Dreams," earning him enough votes to secure the win.
The night wasn’t just about the competition, it was a celebration of music and talent. Former Coach Kelly Clarkson returned to the stage to perform “You for Christmas,” setting a heartwarming tone.
Giving back-to-back hits, Season 25 champions, Dan + Shay delivered “Take Me Home for Christmas” and “Pick Out a Christmas Tree,” department of holiday cheer.
Season 25 winner Asher HaVon performed his heartfelt new song “Thank You," and Season 24 winner, Huntley, sang his new single "Skyline Drive."
Adding to the star-studded lineup, musical guests included Myles Smith, performing "Stargazing,” Riley Green with Ella Langley singing "Don’t Mind If I Do," Snoop Dogg delivered "Another Part of Me," and the legendary Tears For Fears enthralʼs, who performed their iconic hits "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" and "The Girl That I Call Home”.
The packed finale marked the culmination of the 26th season, ensuring a celebratory and emotional night for all involved. Vasquez’s win solidifies his place in ‘The Voice殿堂’, leaving behind a legacy of talent and inspiration.
