Team India has named Kuldeep Yadav as a replacement for Yuzvendra Chahal in the first ODI against Australia at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Friday. The change came after Yadav’s performances in the ODI series against New Zealand and Sri Lanka in January. Anyway, it can be said that the star shines in these two series.
Meanwhile, Chahal took only one wicket against Lanka and two wickets against the Kiwis. Chahal’s exclusion from the playing eleven has received mixed reactions.
One fan wrote on Twitter:
“This series confirms that Kuldeep is now India’s lead spinner in ODIs ahead of Chahal.” One thing that is clear from Hardik’s captaincy so far is that he is not a big fan of Chahal.
