THE WORST CELLPHONES to play Free Fire in 2023

2023-04-19 21:00:00

Everyone is already bald of hearing that Free Fire runs on any cell phone, and that’s why it doesn’t even deserve to be tested by us. But what if I told you that there is a specific selection of smartphones here that just picked up to run our much loved Free Fire, would you believe me? Yeah, even cell phones make gaffes, and that’s what we’ll see today. Check now the 5 WORST cell phones to run Free Fire.

Guys, I really wanted to be able to test the worst cell phones in Free Fire, in the literal sense of “worst cell phone”. I really wanted Nicolas to arrive at my table with a broken Galaxy Pocket for me to test, but unfortunately it’s hard to get that kind of relic these days. Therefore, in today’s list we will only bring smartphones that at some point passed our tests here at Roda Liso, okay?

AVOID THESE CELLPHONES if you play Free Fire!

Infinix NOTE 10 Pro

Infinix Note 10 Pro

Starting with the Infinix Note 10 Pro which, don’t get me wrong, is not a bad device by any means. What happens with this device is that, at least at the time we tested it, it didn’t perform even 10% of what it should have, according to its advertisements, ads, price, parts… Anyway, it was a very big disappointment. Regardless of the opinion of fans and mobile phone users we have here in the community, the Infinix Note 10 Pro was marked on our channel as one of the biggest disappointments in terms of performance in games.

Our darling here comes equipped with a Helio G95 processor, 8 GB of RAM, 5000 mAh battery and a 6.95″ IPS screen with 90Hz refresh rate.

At Frifas, Infinix sent 60 FPS, with 100% stability, but with a BAD battery life, marking only 3:25h of autonomy. That is, it would only take three and a half hours for you to burn this big boy’s entire load in a game of Free Fire.

The Infinix Note 10 Pro makes our list because of not only its lurid performance in the other games and tests we’ve done, but also the very low battery lifepreventing you from playing any game for long periods of time.

POCO M3
POCO M3

The POCO M3 is certainly one of the most talked about phones by us, as we create content with this big guy because of its versatility and value. Honestly, the POCO M3 doesn’t have many flaws besides the weak chip. The battery has a capacity of 6000 mAh, the screen is a 6.53″ IPS panel and the cameras are acceptable for a model of this level.

His problem is AGE, The POCO M3 is Outdated. In addition to being updated to Android 12 just recently, the M3 lacks official support and optimizations for the games, making life difficult for those who constantly play Free Fire, who receive updates in a row. Unlike Infinix, which was launched almost a year later, POCO is now entering that “limbo” of forgotten smartphones, a place that also keeps the Redmi Note 9s, which in 2021 ran COD Mobile in a good way with the graphics at maximum, but it’s a shame to scroll through Instagram currently.

The POCO M3 has a classic Snapdragon 662 and at its peak cost just R$995.00 in Brazil, with even more impressive price drops on Aliexpress.

If you own a POCO M3, know that maybe this is the time for you to look for a new smartphone, after all, our M3 model was dragged up last year in Luis’s hands during a mysterious crash while he was surfing Instagram, here’s the warning.

realme 9
realme 9

Realme 9 was an interesting case in our tests here on the channel, as it was completely overshadowed by two other devices that passed through our bench: Realme 9 Pro+ and Realme 9i.

  • The Realme 9 Pro+ is a version remember from realme 9with some adaptations and a considerably superior processor.
  • The Realme 9i is the opposite, operating as one more version light of theethus making use of an equal processor, but with a lower display and a smaller amount of RAM.

My point with this is that if you want a budget smartphone, you have the Realme 9i, and if you want a more “premium” smartphone, you spend more on a Realme 9 Pro or Pro+. I.e, there is no space for normal Realme 9either for its high value or for its disappointing performance.

In addition, although the Realme 9 performed well on Frifas during our tests, its overall result was below average with a Selo Não Roda, even losing to the Realme 9i, which is classified as inferior by the brand.

That is, if you really opted for a Realme 9, you will have to be content ONLY with Frifas, as it was the only game that ran fully on it. And if it’s just to play Free Fire, it’s preferable to play saving BRL 150, BRL 200 with Realme 9i, which has the exact same performance, by the way.

Redmi Note 11S
Redmi Note 11S

Look, we’re not against MediaTek, it’s just that snapdragon is snapdragon, right, guys? In a fair comparison of the Note 11S with the regular Note 11, we noticed that, in addition to greater stability in most games, Note 11 heats up less and has more battery life during gameplayssomething that the 11S failed to provide.

If your goal is to play only Fogo Livre, know that it is possible, but the autonomy of the smartphone is one of the weak points, along with several other crashing problems due to the lack of system optimizations. In that case, taking all this into account, it is preferable that you opt for a normal Redmi Note 11 which, in addition to having a more reliable processor for games (Snapdragon 680), performs almost equally to the Note 11S in other everyday tasks, such as cameras, navigation, screens, etc.

The Redmi Note 11S, with its Helio G96 processor, achieved the Selo Roda Liso in Free Fire, but it fell short when compared to other cheaper devices in our ranking, such as the POCO M5.

That’s why this smartphone is here today as one of the worst cost-effective options for you who want to play Frifas.

Samsung Galaxy A53
Samsung Galaxy A53

Here we have the number one, the very grand, the greatest, the Galaxy A53, the only smartphone in our ranking that ran Free Fire with LESS THAN 30FPS. And no, it wasn’t a bug, because we tried again and again to run the game again and the result was the same.

A lot of people in the comments on this Roda Liso came to complain that our model was buggy and that it came damaged, but we already replied in advance that it wasn’t. The name of the problem is actually called Exynos 1280.

Samsung processors already have this bad reputation for a long time, with many complaints of instability, below average performance and very high temperature when compared to Snapdragon and MediaTek competitors.

With an incredible 29 FPS average, at 100% stability, the Galaxy A53 took the Selo Não Roda at Frifas, along with the trophy for the worst performance we’ve ever had in this game. Finally, it’s worth noting that this little guy lagged almost every other game on our test list. So it’s clear from our record that this is not an issue with Frifas exclusively, but that the device has zero compatibility with the games we tested.

Although the Galaxy A53 has other quality settings, such as the cameras and screen, they go unnoticed by the elephant in the room, which is the lack of constancy of this processor in games. Not counting, of course, the amount of R$ 1,900.00which turns out to be quite high when we consider the negative points.

“Okay, but, wait a minute. You made a video to talk about the worst cell phones to play Free Fire and they all run the game at 60 FPS? Only the last one that took less than 30 frames, what do you mean?”

Free Fire is a very light game and, unless you are using a cavernous cell phone from 2015, you will be able to masterfully run the game. What happens is that, due to these low requirements, many people are tempted to opt for a light device to run the game, forgetting that it updates and consumes more and more processing over the years. So, in some time, it may be that your POCO M3 can no longer withstand the stress of running Frifas. And if you recently bought the device without checking these details first, well… IT WAS BAD.

The final tip we give is: do not buy any of these smartphones listed if your goal is just to play gamesespecially if it’s just the Free Fire. There are better options and you can find them both on our Roda Liso channel and here on web workshop.
