Daring something is also a family story for Florian Hofmann. Even his grandfather was looked at funny because of his father, he says. Because he planted his first fruit trees in the wine-growing community of Pernersdorf: apricots, apples and pears. People would have wondered why the farmer let his son grow anything other than wine. But the investment was worth it. Hofmann and his family still sell fruit today.
