According to the United Nations Children’s Fund, UNICEF, there are more than a million children and adolescents who have to skip food at least once in the South American country of Argentina.

This organization also reveals that the reason for this is poverty.

According to UNICEF, poverty has led to a 67% reduction in meat consumption and a 40% reduction in fruit, dairy and vegetable consumption.

The organization also points to the fact that insufficient income for families also has worrisome consequences in terms of health. UNICEF also says that the income protection system is a pillar of the process of protecting the most vulnerable families.
