The Indonesian General Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) supervised preparations for the Re-Voting (PSU) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

This is to ensure that the implementation of the PSU runs smoothly and according to procedures, both at TPSLN and KSK.

The PSU implementation will be held on Sunday 10 March 2024 at 20 polling stations and 122 mobile ballot boxes (KSK).

Indonesian Bawaslu member Lolly Suhenty stated that the number of voter data was correct, but there were records that there were voters with the same name.

“The supervisor cannot justify it because there is no NIK and/passport number,” said Lolly, Sunday (10/3).

Regarding this matter, Bawaslu coordinated with the KPU so that the names concerned were scrutinized to confirm when voting.

Lolly also found a vulnerability to violations in PSU notifications that were not on target.

Likewise, the results of observation through sampling at cekdptonline.kpu.go.id, there are still voters whose NIK and DPT KSK/TPSLN location information do not match.

“We carry out inherent supervision on voting day so that those who come to the TPS/KSK are voters who meet the requirements as PSU voters according to the designated location,” he stressed.

Then, Lolly highlighted the existence of two waves of logistics distribution, namely March 9 and 10 2024.

In order to avoid fraud, Bawaslu carries out close supervision so that logistics distribution arrives at TPSLN/KSK before the PSU is opened.

From monitoring, Lolly said there was a potential for voting to close not according to the specified time, namely before 18.00 local time.

Vulnerability to violations can also occur if the DPKLN is opened earlier than the provisions.

“Some other potentials include the available ballot papers not complying with the provisions (DPTLN+2% per TPSLN/KSK), KPPSLN not signing the ballot papers, DPTLN not being installed around the TPSLN/KSK, ballot boxes being opened before the counting process, and assistive devices for the visually impaired not available,” said Lolly.

Lolly also highlighted the vulnerability of violations on the witness side and the organizer side.

Such as the potential for KPPSLN not recording special events on the special incident form, to the point of destroying ballot papers that have been used by voters or voting the remaining ballot papers. (Z-3)
