During the morning of this Monday it was confirmed that FC Barcelona do not have how to register to Franck Kessié and Andreas Christensen because they do not have financial ‘fair play’ and with the passing of the hours they have been revealed more critical details about the situation of the club chaired by Joan Laporta. As of today, Barça cannot complete any transfer or renewal, not even Sergi Roberto’s, which was going to be announced last week.
The economy of the Barça entity is in free fall and it has begun to leak that they are at the limit, so for now we must forget about the signings of Robert Lewandowski, Kalidou Koulibaly, Raphinha or, in short, any player, as well as the renewals of Sergi Robero and even Gavi. There is nothing to do them with and Barça enters a state of absolute collapse, waiting for an urgent meeting this Tuesday in which decisions will be made to define the club’s action plan.
In Cadena COPE’s Great Match, the journalist Helena Condis reported that since last week “the renovations were paralyzed because there is no ‘fair play’ at all. Neither sign, nor renew, nor register Kessié and Christensen. It’s the harsh reality”adding that this Tuesday there will be a “key” meeting in La Junquera that Mateu Alemany will attend.
Likewise, it specifies that Xavi Hernández is pressing to get the signings. For now, from Barça they cannot give answers and they are waiting to get the million dollar sale by a player (Frenkie de Jong) in addition to three departures of soccer players in the coming weeks. Joan Laporta and his board of directors, in the same way, hope to be able to activate some of the economic ‘levers’ in the coming days to prevent the crisis from going deeper.
Last week, we already counted on @partyzocope that the renovations were paralyzed because there is no fair play at all. Neither sign, nor renew, nor register Kessié and Christensen. It is the harsh reality. Tomorrow key meeting in Junquera. Tb goes Mateu Alemany. Xavi squeezes…

It is expected that this Tuesday the club will announce an extraordinary Assembly (which will be in the month of June and electronically) to request permission from the members to sell 49% of BLM (Barça Licensing & Merchandising) and of television rights, as reported by ‘SPORT’ this Monday. It will be decided in the same if they will sell one or both assets. The club expects to generate revenue of 320 million euros in total in this way.
Barça will announce another extraordinary Assembly tomorrow in mid-June. It will be telematic and will request permission for the sale of 49% of BLM (€320M) and/or television rights according to @tfrieros and @ferrancorreas in @sport.

It has been revealed in recent days that the consortium formed by Fanatics and Invest Industrial would pay 200 million for a percentage, while the other 120 ‘kilos’ are being negotiated right now with other sectors. In the case of television rights, Barça will have to choose between joining LaLiga Impulso with the investment fund CVC or the offer led by Goldman Sachs.
The Barça, forced to generate income
Joan Laporta confirmed it a few days ago during an interview offered to L’Esportiu de Catalunya, in which he revealed that Barça’s situation is, to say the least, critical. The club is still in the UCI, as far as finances are concerned: “Even if we generated certain income, LaLiga’s criteria would not allow us to have a salary margin. We respect the regulations, but we understand that they are strict and are a comparative offense with other countries. We are talking to LaLiga about these issues, but we see a very entrenched position. Plain and simple: according to LaLiga, not even entering 600 million euros could we have a salary margin”
