It was September 17, 2022 and Macky Sall appointed a new government. After a little over a year, a new team was created with ministers who lost their positions.
Aly Ngouille Ndiaye, formerly Minister of Agriculture, rural equipment and food sovereignty, is replaced by Samba Ndiobéne Ka. The presidential ambitions of the first named have been there.

Until then Minister of Economy, Planning and Cooperation, Oulimata Sarr gives up his seat to Doudou Ka. Just like the former Minister of Oil and Energy Sophie Gladima which has political ambitions contrary to those of the regime in place.
The former Minister of Sports, Yankhoba Diatara also lost his seat due to his companionship with Idrissa Seck who left the presidential movement.
