This is because four restaurants in New York City and New Jersey made the list. OpenTable’s list of the 100 most romantic dining experiences in the country.

Two of the restaurants are located in Manhattan: Gallagher’s Steakhouse in the center of the city and RH Rooftop en Meatpacking District.
Just across the river, in Weehawken, the restaurant Chart House it is also on the annual list. A little further south, in Freehold, the restaurant 618 also earned honors. Two restaurants in Cape May were also mentioned, The Washington Inn y Tisha’s.

A word to the wise: In recent years, the restaurants on the list have filled up for reservations before February 1.
