These Dog Breeds Are Banned Around The World

When looking to adopt a dog, most people look to the most common breeds, while others prefer those that are labeled as “violent”. But then they realize that they are limited or even banned in their country!

Indeed, 52 countries have specific legislation for certain dog breeds. This can range from their total ban, to specific restrictions, such as a minimum age for ownership, sterilization and mandatory microchip/tattoo, or wearing a muzzle.

These rules came regarding following many accidents, which also led to these breeds being considered violent or dangerous. There have obviously been complaints from owners, but these rules are still very present.
