Dr. Andreas Michalsen said that some foods help to secrete the substance “L-tryptophan” in the body, which in turn helps to secrete the hormone “serotonin” known as the hormone of happiness.
The German internal medicine specialist and physiotherapist explained that these foods include soybeans, cashews, bananas, dates, avocados, legumes, oatmeal and mozzarella cheese, as well as fermented foods such as sauerkraut and yogurt.
On the other hand, there are foods that spoil the mood, such as highly processed foods, saturated fatty acids, and sugar.
