In addition, he singled out the group of players for overcoming adversity: “And these guys with a lot of manliness gave us the joy that I think we all dreamed of, that we all expected and that many Argentines around the world and also many people yearned for and wanted the Argentine National Team to be world champion.”

“This was achieved by you and I think it is also credit to our coaching staff”held and reminded all those who passed since he is the boss of the AFA: “To all the coaching staff, in just 5 years they have achieved the titles in youth, in the senior team. It is the result of the work they carry out in the selection project that the AFA has.”

And closed: “This award has a lot of value. But the real value of all our players who gave us the chance to feel like the best in the world and embrace that cup together and be able to celebrate because South America had not achieved it for a long time, because the last 5, 6 World Cups was from the Europeans. Many congratulations to each one of those who work in the AFA, to each one of those who accompanies our different teams and very special to these players and to the ten, to the best player in the world”.
