These international personalities have already arrived in Colombia for the possession of Petro

Less than two days after possession of Gustavo Petro as the new president of Colombiathe international guests began to arrive who will be present at the presidential change ceremony that will take place in the Plaza de Bolívar in the city of Bogotá.

One of the first people to arrive in Bogotá was the Vice President of El Salvador, Felix Ulloawho was received by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Colombia, Francisco Echeverry.

Another official from these areas of the region who has already arrived in the country’s capital was the former president of Paraguay, Fernando Lugo.

For his part, the Acting Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), Mario Cimoli, arrived in the capital in the last few hours. In addition, he was received in Bogotá by the ambassador Luis Antonio Dimatedirector in charge of America of the Foreign Ministry.

Likewise, on a tour of a red carpet that was located at the El Dorado airport, the Chancellor of the Republic of Serbia arrived, Nikola Selakovic.

Next to the Chancellor was the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Colombia, Francisco Echevarri.

For his part, another guest who was confirmed by the Foreign Ministry to have arrived in the country was the Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyed Mohammad Hosseini.

Of international personalities who have confirmed their presence this Sunday, August 7, King Felipe IV of Spain is yet to arrive in the country, and the presidents Gabriel Boric of Chile, Andrés Manuel López Obrador (Mexico), Guillermo Lasso (Ecuador), Alberto Fernández (Argentina) and Luis Arce Catacora (Bolivia).
