Awards ceremony in Los Angeles
The Emmy Awards were presented in Los Angeles on Monday evening (September 12th). Radio Hamburg megastars Lizzo, Selena Gomez and John Legend were also there and presented prizes, won them themselves and presented new songs.

On Monday (September 12th) the Emmy Awards were presented in Los Angeles and several Radio Hamburg megastars were there, winning and awarding prizes and presenting new songs.
Selena Gomez presents award with “Only Murders in the Building” colleagues

Actress and singer Selena Gomez presented an award Monday night along with fellow actresses Steve Martin and Martin Short. The three appear together in the Hulu comedy-drama series Only Murders in the Building. The series is about three strangers who share a common passion – true crimes. However, everything changes when the three suddenly become involved in such a case. At the Emmys, Gomez was styled by Kate Young and wore a white long dress with her hair up and stunning earrings.
John Legend performs new song and commemorates deceased artists

John Legend made a very special appearance at the 2022 Emmy Awards. The 43-year-old singer has unveiled his new song “Pieces” while remembering the industry’s late artists. While he performed his song on the piano, photos of deceased stars like Betty White, Bob Saget or Gilbert Gottfried are on a screen in the background.
Lizzo wins award for reality TV show
Lizzo herself won an award for her reality TV show ‘Watch Out For the Big Grrls’ on Monday night. She won the award in the “Outstanding Competition Program” category, beating out well-known shows such as “The Voice” and “Top Chef”. During her speech, the 34-year-old became emotional and said to great applause: “When I was a little girl, all I wanted to see was me in the media. Someone fat like me. Black like me. Beautiful like me. If I could go back and tell little Lizzo something I’d be like, ‘You gon’ see that person but b—h, it’s going to have to be you”.
It is also aimed at the participants and the people with her on stage: “The trophy is nice but my emotion is for the people who are on this stage with me,” she said while tearing up again. “The stories that they shared, they’re not that unique they just don’t get the platform. Telling stories. Let’s just tell more stories.”
