A commission of the San Fernando de Apure Coordination of Investigations of Crimes Against Persons followed up on a femicide case, the report of which came from the city of Villavicencio del Meta, in Colombia.
After processing the complaint, officials from the Criminal, Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps (Cicpc) captured a 28-year-old man in troubled lands, who was accused of committing the murder of 39-year-old Karen Alexander Rodríguez.

The death of the lady was notified on November 6 on Colombian soil, for which reason national authorities received information regarding the subject who had strangled a woman with a cable.
The detainee was located in the Las Cotuas sector, Apure state, so he was arrested and promptly presented to the Public Ministry.
