In recent days, the name of Balenciaga has been on everyone’s lips and not in a good way, after the strong controversy that has been registered after his campaign where they use children and are accused of pedophilia. Given this, a trend in networks has been unleashed, and it consists of recording themselves in the stores of the fashion brand, confronting the employees, trains that have been strongly criticized in the same digital world.

Balenciaga, is a Spanish clothing brand, which has gained popularity for its iconic designs in recent years, for which it records, according to data from its own report, that its performance in 2021 increased with fluctuations, as measured by the index that was measured at 72.23 points.

They are recorded confronting Balenciaga employees

Through a video on Tiktok, two people are seen screaming after breaking in and confronting the employees of a Balenciaga store, after the strong accusations surrounding the brand for its campaign.

The couple, who uploaded images of the workers to social media, were saying they were on a “one-way trip to hell” if they didn’t quit their jobs over the controversy.

“How does it feel to work for a company that openly supports child abuse? How do you feel about that?” one of the attackers says as he walks to the store counter.

The employees appear to be caught off guard by the question, and one staff member said he had no comment before continuing with his work.

“I know if I was working for a company that openly endorsed these things, I would be looking for a new job, guys,” he adds.

The couple then turned their attention to customers in the store, asking a man if he knew Balenciaga was “involved in the exploitation of children.”

While the images received some support from followers, who encouraged their “incredible work”, others questioned why they would pick on retail workers.

“Wow, so nervous… You know this is bullying, right?” One person commented on the video, which has more than a thousand likes on Instagram.

“These are retail workers…just people trying to get by. What do you expect them to do? Give up? Will you pay their bills?” says another.

Others said it was “disgusting behaviour” and “unnecessary”, with another adding: “This is embarrassing, please delete it.”

“Brother, you are messing with some worker. Cold man. They have to earn a living. Relax guys. Go after the king, not the pawn,” said one person.

“OMG, the people who try retail workers are the biggest sextheads. They get minimum wage and probably have bills to pay, it’s not them,” said another.

And this is how the repercussion in networks against the fashion brand continues to generate conversations, where many have a different opinion.
