After the scandal, and once the waters had calmed down, the players remained in the locker room (in the dark, because there was no light) waiting for the judicial decision. They had dinner there and stayed until around 1 AM, when the arrest warrant was issued.
“They want to parade us through the police station. What they are doing makes no sense, it is a punishment that they are imposing on us”claimed the president of the Board of Trustees, Oscar Lenzi. The violent reaction, always unjustified, was rooted in the fact that the Entre Ríos team was badly affected. Patronato had a goal by Axel Rodríguez annulled in the first half due to an advanced position (when he had received a rebound after a faulty rebound on a rival), at the request of the VAR. Then he suffered the (correct) expulsion of Nicolás Castro for a foul on Iván Tapia.

Sava’s aggression against the referee (he clenched his fist to hit him, but changed his mind and just pushed him), the soccer players’ complaints and the confrontation with the police, which left three officers injured and ended with the arrest of part of the pattern campus.
