Real Madrid striker, French Karim Benzema, revealed his opinion of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, Liverpool’s top scorer.
Benzema said, in an interview with the famous French magazine “France Football”, “Mohamed Salah is a very talented player, he is one of the best players in the world.”
He added, “Salah reminds me of Cristiano Ronaldo, he is a useful player for this team, and for any team in the world.”
“It is always good to see a teammate of yours who is doing well,” the France international added.
Real Madrid’s French striker Karim Benzema strengthened his lead in the Champions League top scorer, after he scored a goal during his team’s 3-1 victory over Manchester City in the semi-final second leg and after the end of the semi-final round of the competition.
Karim Benzema raised his score to 15 goals in the lead, almost deciding the title of the competition’s top scorer for the first time in its history, knowing that he is ranked third in the list of historical scorers in the European Champions League with 86 goals.
With most of the competitors closest to him out in the top scorer of the competition, the Egyptian Mohamed Salah remains the only Liverpool star who will play the final in Paris, but his mission is impossible and unrealistic, as he needs to score 7 full goals in the final match, with Benzema not scoring any goal.
Mohamed Salah is in fourth place with 8 goals and is 7 goals behind the lead.
After 124 matches in the competition, he scored 379 goals, 3.06 goals per match and one goal every 29 minutes.
Bayern Munich leads the best attack in the current edition with 31 goals, 30 goals for Liverpool, 29 goals for Manchester City and 28 goals for Real Madrid.
