PNC sources reported this Sunday that through raids in the El Limón neighborhood, zone 18, three gang members from neighborhood 18 were captured, who could be involved in the attack against the prosecutor of the Public Ministry (MP), Miriam Reguero Sosa.

In the attack that occurred on March 27, the prosecutor was unharmed. However, her mother, Miriam Sosa, 65 years old, and a bodyguard, died from several gunshot wounds.

The raids took place since last Saturday in the El Limón neighborhood, where the two men identified were captured. This Sunday the operations continued and a third capture was confirmed.

Without giving more details, PNC investigators indicated that the investigations found several clues that could involve the detainees in the attack on the prosecutor.

Those who shot at Reguero Sola were wearing uniforms similar to those used by the PNC, as shown in images that circulated on social networks, they were also riding on a motorcycle similar to those used by the police force, This would have been located in the raids, although the MP experts will have to exhaust the analyzes to determine that it was the one used by the hitmen.

Investigators indicate that the detainees could be involved with a gang dismantled a month ago in San Miguel Petapa, who were found wearing vests with the logo of the PNC and the PNC.

These subjects, according to the investigations, used clothing similar to that of the police authorities to enter the homes and loot them in the presence of the residents. The excuse was that they had search warrants to enter the properties.
