They capture more than 15 people accused of extortion, robberies and other crimes
Authorities report searches in five municipalities where they made arrests for various crimes.

The National Civil Police (PNC) reported that this Tuesday, April 9, the capture of 19 people in raids was reported.
The arrests are for the crimes of illicit association, conspiracy to murder, attempted murder and extortionate obstruction of traffic.
Investigators from the Specialized Criminal Investigation Division and the Public Ministry participated in the raids.
The searches were in Guatemala, Chinautla, Mixco, Villa Canales and Santa Catarina Pinula, where the objective was to dismantle structures that are dedicated to committing extortion and robberies, among other crimes.
According to the PNC, the arrests are in follow-up to different investigation cases and in compliance with arrest warrants for different crimes.
Additionally, during the searches the seizure of a firearm was reported.
According to the PNC, the complaints that enter 110 and 1561 are “valuable” to capture criminals.
The proceedings continue by the authorities.
