In order to guarantee the protection of the population deprived of liberty, a vaccination day was carried out in which 700 inmates of the José Antonio Anzoátegui Penitentiary Center, located in the Puente Ayala sector of Barcelona, were benefited, reported the Government of Anzoátegui in his Instagram social network account, @anzoateguigob.
From the place, the Single Health Authority in the territorial entity, Zuilen Li Moreno, together with the president of the Barrio Adentro Foundation, Yemaira Villasmil, affirmed that those deprived of liberty were inoculated with the first, second and third doses of biological product, to the prevention of Covid-19 and anti-influenza vaccines.
Li Moreno stressed that the activity was carried out as part of public policies, to guarantee the health of all.
“Today we are fulfilling an orientation from the head of the Ministry of Popular Power for Health, Magaly Gutiérrez, and Governor Luis Marcano, in attention to the well-being of this sector of the population,” he said.
