They detect a solar flare larger than Earth

An amateur astronomical photographer captured an unusual solar storm, as large as four times the planet Earth, which surprises scientists, reported the Hispantv web portal.

The photographer, Chuck Ayuob, who managed to record the impressive video said: “I did not expect this when I captured the Sun. Yesterday I pointed my telescope at this unusual solar storm. An ongoing battle between the Sun’s changing magnetic fields has caused this plasma storm to rise up and appear almost locked in place, unable to move.”

The audiovisual was captured last, June 2, where you can see a cloud of plasma that barely moves for an hour, an accelerated lapse in the recording to a few seconds.
