They discover a ton of coca hidden in cow skins

The tricks of the drug lords to extract coca never cease to surprise the authorities. This time they found cocaine stuck to export-type bovine hides that left from the port of Guayaquil, Ecuador.

When the shipment arrived in Buenaventura, Valle, the police identified a container that had inconsistencies in the stamps, and which they paid special attention to because it remained in one of the Export Bays of the maritime Terminal, ready to be shipped to Europe.

Later, the canines trained in the port warned of irregularities in the skins.

The coca was scattered on plastic sheeting glued to one side of the skin of bovine, and apparently it was not noticeable.

With the inspection, the Police found a ton of coca hydrochloride, very well camouflaged between 25 tons of skins.

The container was destined for the port of Burgas, in Bulgaria, where it would be received by members of the Balkan Clan, who would later distribute it in France, Germany and Italy.

That ton would have a value of 75 million dollars, reported the Anti-Narcotics Police.
