Asunción, IP Agency.- More than 15 tons of marijuana were eliminated with the destruction of five camps located in a rural establishment in Bella Vista Norte, department of Amambay, through an operation carried out by agents of the National Anti-Drug Secretariat (Senad).
In addition to the destruction of the five camps detected in the rural establishment, during the raid, the cancellation of a planted area was carried out, and the elimination of 1,500 kilos of the drugs placed for drying and another 1,940 kilos ready for packaging. In total, more than 15,000 kilos of marijuana were taken out of circulation.
The intervention of the Senad team was carried out under the supervision of prosecutor Celso Morales.
The Regional Offices are working in coordination to locate and subsequently dismantle the processing centers for illicit cargo. Offices such as Bella Vista Norte and Pedro Juan Caballero plan to give strength to new incursions that will be accompanied by parallel investigations.
