“As an institution, we deeply regret the death of the foreign Naval Cadetwho was doing an academic exchange period at the “Arturo Prat” Naval School, they pointed out in the letter.
“We send our most sincere condolences to the Cadet’s family, his Institution and classmates from the “Arturo Prat” Naval School. The Chilean Navy will continue to provide all the necessary support to the Institution and the cadet’s family in this difficult moment”.
According to the chronology of the events, at about 11 am on Saturday, it was reported that two cadets belonging to the Arturo Prat naval school, who were making use of their free time, and in trekking activities, reached the sector of the Placilla Water Fallsin the Valparaiso Region.
