Asunción, IP Agency.- The National Electricity Administration (ANDE) promotes the training of more than 10 crews to respond to damage caused by severe weather phenomena, especially in summer, when temperatures exceed 38 degrees.

It is through the course “Enabling Skills for Support in Emergency Situations – Operation Area”, aimed at officials with basic training in electricity and who will be in charge of addressing claims during emergencies.

This course, which lasts 233 hours, began on October 9 and will last until January 10, 2025, in the emblematic Saxony Complex Museum, a space that connects participants with the founding principles of the Ande. .The practical internship will take place from January 13 to 22, 2025.

This course follows the institution’s emergency protocol, which activates the crews according to the severity of the damage in Code Yellow (20 crews), Code Orange (30 crews) and Code Red (50 crews).

The directors of Administrative Services, José Vega, participated in the opening ceremony; Human Resources, Javier Boungermini; as well as heads of divisions, Esteban Cabrera and Andreas Caballero; as well as the Commercial Management and Distribution Management departments. On the occasion, equipment such as chainsaws and pruners were also delivered to the teams of the Emergency Support Team, Diego Ramírez and Christian Gamarra.
