A 28-year-old girl who was wanted since yesterday was found murdered today, inside a cesspool of a house in the town of Batán, 17 kilometers from Mar del Plata. The Police are looking for her partner, who together with the victim’s father had reported her disappearance, as the alleged perpetrator of the femicide, and whose truck appeared today at sea.
The woman was identified as Valeria González, whose body appeared in the cesspool behind the house located on Calle 133 and 122, on Provincial Route 88, where she lived with her son and her partner, identified as Leandro Sebastián Cechetto (53). .
As published by Télam, the man and the father of the young woman had reported last night, around 11:30 p.m., the disappearance of the woman at the 8th police station, since they could not be contacted since morning.
According to what they said, González had not gone to her mother’s birthday party and did not answer the phone, which caught their attention considering that, according to Cechetto, she left the house they shared around 8:30 a.m. and had not returned. communicate.
With these data, the troops began the protocol to search for people and minutes after being in the section, the young woman’s brothers crossed him in a dance club, where there was a confrontation until the suspect left the place in his Volkswagen Amarok blue.
In parallel, the woman’s father entered the house of Cechetto and his daughter to search it and found the cover of an internal septic chamber out of place.
Picking it up, he found his daughter’s body, so he called 911, the sources said. Meanwhile, the troops continued the search for Cechetto, who had a blacksmith business in Batán.
In this context, the van owned by the man was spotted by personnel from the Miramar Patrol Command in the sea, at the height of the Via Crucis of the Florentino Ameghino Nursery without occupants.
At the scene, the police officers saw the trace of the vehicle traveling on the embankment towards a ten-meter-high drop on the descent of the beach, so they did not rule out a suicide.
The vehicle will be rescued by the Miramar firefighters and then carry out the corresponding expert reports.
The search for Cechetto continued this afternoon by sea near his truck and by land. The sources added that the victim, from the beginning of the relationship with Cechetto, with whom he had a one-year-old son, remained practically isolated from his family and friends, although there was no history of complaints of violence or manifestations of it. about being a victim of a similar situation.

The fact is investigated by the prosecutor Romina Díaz, in charge of UFI N 6, who ordered different measures that are already carried out by the police to reconstruct the last hours of González. The judicial officer classified the cause as femicide and ordered the autopsy for this afternoon.
