The Attorney General of the State of Puebla reported that he obtained the sentence of 68 years in prison against Pablo Jesús “N”, Ángel “N” and Lisset “N”, responsible for the murder of three medical students and the Uber driver in February 2020

According to the Puebla agency, the Public Ministry agent confirmed the participation of the two men and the woman in the murder of the Medicine students, José Antonio Parada Cerpa and Ximena Quijano, originally from Colombia and who studied at the UPAEP, in addition to Francisco Javier Tirado, who was originally from Veracruz and attended the BUAP, who attended the Huejotzingo carnival

Likewise, he was credited with his participation in the murder of the Uber driver, José Emmanuel Vital Castillo, a native of Huejotzingo.

Pablo Jesús “N”, Ángel “N” and Lisset “N” must remain in prison for 50 years for the crime of qualified homicide, while they will remain 18 years for aggravated vehicle theft and must pay compensation for moral and material damage.

It was on February 24, 2020 that the lifeless bodies of Ximena Quijano Hernández, José Antonio Parada Cerpa, Colombian exchange students, as well as Francisco Javier, originally from Veracruz, and the driver Josué Emanuel, were located on a dirt road. in Santa Ana Xalmimilulco, in the municipality of Huejotzingo, where the students had attended a carnival.

Faced with this sentence, the governor of PueblaMiguel Barbosa Huerta, celebrated that the murderers spent 68 years of their lives in prison.

“We have to agree with the conviction but we continue to regret the facts, they were very difficult times for everyone, for the entire state, moving, but we are moving forward,” he mentioned.

Meanwhile, the parents of the victims expressed their satisfaction with the sentence and trust that the three responsible remain behind bars.
