The Secretariat of Environment and Natural Resources of Hidalgo (Semarnath) formed the Committee of the “My Green Footprint, Office 0 Impact” program, to promote sustainable and environmentally responsible work styles among the public servants of said agency.
In that sense, 15 public servants took office as members of said committee, who will encourage their colleagues to cooperate in reducing the environmental impact generated from the offices.
“My Green Footprint, Office 0 Impact” begins as a pilot program within Semarnath, with the aim of later being replicated in more state government agencies.
This program is developed through six lines of action:
1. Savings and efficient use of electrical energy.
2. Savings and efficient use of water.
3. Urban solid waste, with a focus on the 3 Rs strategy.
4. Air quality and mobility.
5. Care and promotion of green areas.
6. Green purchases and environmental commitment.
