In order to prioritize the health and well-being of Basic Education students, who return to the classrooms next Monday, April 8, the Hidalguense Institute of Education (IHE) shared the recommendations issued by the Ministry of Public Education ( SEP) federal in reference to the total solar eclipse.

This action was carried out through the General Coordination of Basic Education (CGEB), together with the General Directorate of Basic Education (DGEB).

According to the information issued by the SEP, through bulletin 43, the eclipse can be observed from different places in the country, so the school community is invited to take extreme precautions since, for no reason, it should be observed directly.

Teachers will have the opportunity to talk about this phenomenon and guide their students about it. In that sense, they were asked to be very careful, since seeing the sun without adequate protection can permanently damage your eyesight.

According to the information disseminated through social networks by the Astronomical Society of the State of Hidalgo, the eclipse will last 2 hours, 41 minutes and 17 seconds. It will begin at 10:57 a.m.; The maximum point will be at 12:16 p.m. and the end at 1:38 p.m.

Therefore, it is suggested that, in the event that the recess takes place while the phenomenon is developing, the schedule be adjusted so that students remain in their classrooms.

Schools must provide the corresponding facilities to students whose mothers, fathers or guardians do not want them to come to campus that day, always in accordance with the best interests of the child.
