Before the release of the film Jerry Seinfeld was interviewed by the New Yorker and he said there that Hugh Grant is his favorite person. When asked if Grant wasn’t a diva on set, he said he definitely was. Right after that he gave a tip for managing divas on the set (what is life if not managing divas on the set), he says that this is a negotiation technique he adopted:
No matter what you want to get from someone, phrase the question in a way that they can say No And you will still get what you want.
Seinfeld says people like to say no, it gives them a sense of control.
