They murder a teacher when he arrives at his house, in Nuevo León

MONTEMORELOS.- A man identified as a teacher and assistant judge died after an armed attack upon arriving at his home in a municipality of New Lion.

The now deceased was identified as Genaro Salas Reynawho was shot 11 times in the community of El Pastor, 16 kilometers west of Montemorelos, where hours later he lost his life.

The events occurred early this Wednesday morning.

“The Government of Montemorelos deeply regrets the death of Professor Genaro Salas Reyna, Assistant Judge of the community of El Pastor,” was the message from the government through its social networks.

According to preliminary information, three men with long weapons aboard a white truck shot Salas Reyna when he arrived at his home in the community of El Pastor.

The teacher was shot 11 times, so he was helped by paramedics from the Red Cross and transferred to La Carlota hospital, where he died hours later.

“We join in the grief that overwhelms all his family and friends, and we wish for prompt resignation in the face of this irreparable loss,” added the Government of Montemorelos.
