They offer fresh products from the countryside at three simultaneous Fairs in Asunción, Fernando de la Mora and San Lorenzo

Asunción, IP Agency.- These fairs are held simultaneously on the esplanade of the National Congress of Asunción; on the esplanade of the Marketing Directorate, on Avda Mariscal Estigarribia almost Saturio Ríos, San Lorenzo and on Paseo 1811, Avda. Mariscal Estigarribia and Tte. Etienne, city of Fernando de la Mora, from 07:00 a.m., while supplies last.

These activities are promoted by the Government, through the technical units of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, with the support of the Binational Entity Itaipu and UNOPS in Paraguay, in search of direct sales without intermediaries of products from the family farm, favoring the development and dynamism of the productivity of rural families in the country.

Affected by floods in Ñeembucú sell meat products

Producers affected by the floods in the department of Ñeembucu also participate in the Agricultural Fair of Family Agriculture on the esplanade of the National Congress.

They offer products such as goat and sheep meat at G. 30,000 guaraníes per kilo and pork at G. 26,000.

Families represent various departments

Of the three simultaneous fairs, 578 families and 30 organizations from San Pedro, Ñeembucú, Central, Caaguazú, Guairá and the Caazapá Agricultural School are participating.

At the 3 stalls, buyers will be able to access fresh products such as Paraguay cheese, pork, suckling pig, goat, sheep, homemade chicken, duck and homemade egg; in addition to corn, corn flour, red beans, honey, peanuts, peky butter beans, habilla and peky beans.

Also starch, tomato, pepper, cassava, sweet potato, greens in general, seasonal fruits, grains in general, variety of typical and traditional foods, crafts, flowers and plants, among others.
