The technique seemed well established, but they still got caught. Two young women were arrested after a theft of clothes from a store in the Cloche d’Or shopping center in Luxembourg City on Friday around 5:50 p.m. Entered the fitting rooms with a large number of items, they came out neither seen nor known. Or so they thought.
It was without counting on the vigilance of the employees of the store, who were alerted by the apparent buying fever of the “customers”. When they entered the cabins, they came across the 25 tags that had been carefully removed. But the alleged thieves couldn’t get far. After the search was launched, they were spotted in other stores in the mall.
They had on them the 950 euros of stolen clothes. The police recorded the offence.
